Microsoft's Roadmap Event provided business and IT decision makers, who needed to understand the value proposition of IT within the organization, the latest information on Microsoft technologies. The top industry leaders for Birmingham, in a variety of technology realms, were also available to offer guidance and assistance in their respective fields.
Along with Microsoft, Bit-Wizards Custom Software Solutions was on hand to discuss systems integration and customization, Dell was there to provide information on the latest in hardware, TekLinks covered network infrastructure and virtualization, and New Horizons provided training consultation.
The event was attended by more than thirty business and IT decision makers along with twelve Microsoft technology partners. We started with a nice breakfast and a beautiful view of Birmingham from the 31st floor of the Regions Bank building at the Summit Club.
Microsoft was well represented by Jason Jones who emceed the event and was joined by James Cuomo, Dan Jeffre, and Monica Barna. As one of the event co-sponsors, Bit-Wizards was honored to be asked by Microsoft to give a presentation. Vincent Mayfield, spoke on Silverlight and Rich Internet Applications.
